  • Crypto APIs Is Gray Glacier Ready!

    Improvement Announcement

    We have upgraded our Ethereum nodes to the latest “Gray Glacier” fork in advance to make sure no issues are experienced with any of the Crypto APIs products.

    The “Gray Glacier” network upgrade occurred at block 15,050,000 on June 30 with the goal to delay the network’s difficulty bomb, pushing it back by 700,000 blocks, or roughly 100 days.

    The upgrade is an important part of the upcoming moving to ETH 2.0 Proof-of-Stake (PoS) when Ethereum’s execution layer will be merged with the Beacon Chain.

  • New WaaS Feature - Test Wallets ❗❗

    New Feature Announcement WaaS

    Today we uploaded a new feature to our Wallet as a Service product - Test wallets! 🥳

    We have separated the management and creation of Wallets depending on their network. Test Wallets work only with testnet addresses, and Main Wallets - only with mainnet addresses. 

    All Wallets are still accessible the same way through the Dashboard and are now marked with a type, depending on the network. You can also create each Wallet type individually from the same location. ✌

    We believe this change will make the use of WaaS better and easier for all customers! 🌞

  • Wallet as a Service upcoming update ❗❗

    Announcement Coming Soon WaaS
    We are adding a new functionality to our Wallet as a Service for creating test wallets that will work only for testnets. This change will affect accounts who hold coins and/or tokens for mainnet and testnet networks in the same wallet.

    The change will take effect on the 17th of May 2022. We will transition the testnet assets to a newly generated test wallet address. The mainnet address(es) will remain unchanged and will hold only mainnet assets.

    This is just an informational notice of the upcoming change; no action is needed on the client end.

    As of the 17th of May we are adding a new button in the admin dashboard area called "Create a Test Wallet", located under "My Master Wallets" section.

    Note: After this update comes into effect, team members with the role of a "Developer" will be able to create test wallets. Only account owners can generate main wallets.

  • Improved endpoints - `transactionFee` added 😎

    We have added a new attribute to two of our Blockchain Data endpoints.

    "List Confirmed Tokens Transfers By Address" and "List Tokens Transfers By Transaction Hash" now have the attribute `transactionFee` divided by `amount` and `unit`.

    Support for XRP was added to another unified endpoint from Blockchain data.

    "Get Fee Recommendations" can now return information from the XRP blockchain, as well. 👌

    New Blockchain Event types have been introduced today! 🥳

    - New Confirmed Coins Transactions For Specific Amount
    - New Confirmed Token Transactions For Specific Amount
    - New Confirmed Internal Transactions For Specific Amount

    Create callback subscriptions for a specific event - coins, token or internal transactions, and "amountHigherThan" value. This way the results will be filtered for the specified amount.

  • New endpoint - Estimate Transaction Smart Fee ✌

    A new unified endpoint joins the Crypto APIs family! 😊

    Estimate Transaction Smart Fee can estimate the approximate fee per kilobyte needed for a transaction in order to begin the confirmation within the `confirmationTarget` blocks whenever possible. After which it will return the number of blocks for which the estimate is valid.

    It is supported for BTC, LTC and DASH blockchain protocols.

  • XRP Ledger updates - Crypto APIs now supports x-Addresses! 💕🙌

    We now support x-Addresses in WaaS for the XRP Ledger protocol! 🥳

    Now you can use the x-Address Type for XRP Ledger as a destination or source address. The x-Address represents a classic address that is encoded with tag. In WaaS you can use it for the following endpoints:

    - Create Coins Transaction Request from Address
    - Get Transaction Request Details - yes, XRP Ledger support was added! 🤩

    For the purpose and your convenience we have also developed endpoints to simplify both the encoding and decoding of the x-Address:

    - Encode x-Address
    - Decode x-Address
