  • New endpoints, event type and improvements

    New Feature Improvement

We are pleased to announce the launch of more new endpoints for interacting with blockchain protocols and getting notified for anything that happens on-chain.

    Here is what’s new:

Wallet as a Service: Create New Master Wallet

Through this endpoint customers can easily create a new Master Wallet through the API. The user provides the desired Wallet name and in return the response includes the walletId.

When creating a wallet, the customer can select whether to create a Testnet or Mainnet wallet. That new Wallet can be additionally also backed up through the Crypto APIs Dashboard.

Improvement: XRP has been as a possible value to endpoint "Create Coins Transaction From Address for Whole Amount"

    Blockchain Webhooks: New Reverted Block

We are introducing a new event for reverted blocks. By subscribing to this event, customers will receive callbacks from Crypto APIs every time when a block is reverted on a specific blockchain. Reorganization can happen in cases when two blocks are mined at the same time and the nodes cannot agree on which one was first. This occurs as part of the chain reorganization process.

The endpoint works for Ethereum, Ethereum Classic and BNB Smart Chain (testnet).

    Stay tuned fore more updates!

  • KMS Updated SDK Version 0.1.5 Released

    Improvement KMS

We have released a new and improved version of our Open-source Key Management System (KMS)

You can check it on our GitHub page

    What’s new:

    • The release includes better descriptions of endpoints and functions and better examples.
    • We have also removed redundant functionality related to blockchain events.
    • Bug fixes

    What is Crypto APIs KMS?

The Crypto APIs KMS is a self custody solution for generating and storing of private keys.  It is an open-source Node.js library providing full control over master private keys, master seeds, and mnemonics. It allows you to create HD wallets (xPubs) and sign transactions locally without a network connection (offline).
The KMS can be used in combination with Crypto APIs product suite for syncing xPub, deriving wallet  addresses, listing wallet addresses, getting fee recommendations, preparing the transaction with the  right data, broadcasting locally signed transactions.

  • Dashcoin Mainnet Maintenance

    Improvement

We are doing performance improvements to our Dashcoin Mainnet node. You may experience some delays in callbacks, webhooks and automations.

The maintenance is expected to take 1 hour.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

  • Crypto APIs Dashboard update ❗❕

    Improvement Announcement
We are happy to introduce our newly redesigned Crypto APIs Dashboard! ✨

With a more user-friendly and better-structured UI we strive to improve our customers' experience when using the Crypto APIs products.

The redesigned Crypto APIs Dashboard now provides more convenient access to all functionalities, technical documentation and an all new Node as a Service Marketplace.

Stay tuned with our official Updates page and Social media to be the first one to see what's new with Crypto APIs. 😉

  • Crypto APIs Is Gray Glacier Ready!

    Improvement Announcement

We have upgraded our Ethereum nodes to the latest “Gray Glacier” fork in advance to make sure no issues are experienced with any of the Crypto APIs products.

The “Gray Glacier” network upgrade occurred at block 15,050,000 on June 30 with the goal to delay the network’s difficulty bomb, pushing it back by 700,000 blocks, or roughly 100 days.

The upgrade is an important part of the upcoming moving to ETH 2.0 Proof-of-Stake (PoS) when Ethereum’s execution layer will be merged with the Beacon Chain.

  • Improved endpoints - `transactionFee` added 😎

    Improvement Announcement
We have added a new attribute to two of our Blockchain Data endpoints.

"List Confirmed Tokens Transfers By Address" and "List Tokens Transfers By Transaction Hash" now have the attribute `transactionFee` divided by `amount` and `unit`.

Stay tuned with our official Updates page and Social media to be the first one to see what's new with Crypto APIs. 😉

  • XRP support added for new endpoint 😎

    Improvement Announcement
Support for XRP was added to another unified endpoint from Blockchain data.

"Get Fee Recommendations" can now return information from the XRP blockchain, as well. 👌

Stay tuned with our official Updates page and Social media to be the first one to see what's new with Crypto APIs. 😉

  • New Blockchain Event types! ✨

    Improvement Announcement

New Blockchain Event types have been introduced today! 🥳

    - New Confirmed Coins Transactions For Specific Amount
    - New Confirmed Token Transactions For Specific Amount
    - New Confirmed Internal Transactions For Specific Amount

Create callback subscriptions for a specific event - coins, token or internal transactions, and "amountHigherThan" value. This way the results will be filtered for the specified amount.

Stay tuned with our official Updates page and Social media to be the first one to see what's new with Crypto APIs. 😉

  • New endpoint - Estimate Transaction Smart Fee ✌

    Improvement Announcement
A new unified endpoint joins the Crypto APIs family! 😊

Estimate Transaction Smart Fee can estimate the approximate fee per kilobyte needed for a transaction in order to begin the confirmation within the `confirmationTarget` blocks whenever possible. After which it will return the number of blocks for which the estimate is valid.

It is supported for BTC, LTC and DASH blockchain protocols.

Stay tuned with our official Updates page to be the first one to see what's new with Crypto APIs 2.0! 😎

  • XRP Ledger updates - Crypto APIs now supports x-Addresses! 💕🙌

    Improvement Announcement WaaS
We now support x-Addresses in WaaS for the XRP Ledger protocol! 🥳

Now you can use the x-Address Type for XRP Ledger as a destination or source address. The x-Address represents a classic address that is encoded with tag. In WaaS you can use it for the following endpoints:

    - Create Coins Transaction Request from Address
    - Get Transaction Request Details - yes, XRP Ledger support was added! 🤩

For the purpose and your convenience we have also developed endpoints to simplify both the encoding and decoding of the x-Address:

    - Encode x-Address
    - Decode x-Address
